Our Management Personnel know that Communications are key to the success of each Project. All of our personnel have an obligation to their Families, to their coworkers, and to themselves to Work Safe, Dive Safe, & Live Safe©. Just for that reason, Marlin ODI has implemented the “Stop Work Authority" Policy, which melds smoothly with our behavior based safety training techniques. We also have a clear understanding of the skills, techniques, equipment and personnel required to plan, and execute critical assignments, both on location and in the office. This combination of demonstrated operational experience and our strong emphasis on safety and extensive project knowledge ensures that our clients’ expectations are met. Marlin meets or exceeds all industry standards and regulations.
Appropriate guidelines and regulations which we adhere to include:

- US GOM Diving Safety Work Group (DSWG)

All employees receive a copy of Marlin’s substance abuse & drug policies booklet and are required to review and acknowledge receipt, agreement and understanding of all information contained therein. All employees are drug tested at hire and agree to random testing, post injury testing, field testing, etc. New employees are also given copies of the company’s progressive discipline policy to be adhered to by all company personnel. Random drug tests are conducted routinely to ensure adherence to our comprehensive drug and alcohol policy in full compliance with DOT and US Coast Guard requirements.

In full compliance with the Department of Transportation’s Operator Qualification Rule (49 CFR Parts 195 and 192) Training for employees in First Aid, CPR, and PPE. Marlin’s vessel personnel are all licensed in accordance with U.S. Coast Guard regulations. Hazwoper training in accordance with 29CFR1901.120 has been provided for our personnel engaged in oil spill response activities.
