At hire all employees receive a copy of Marlin’s substance abuse & drug policies booklet and are required to review and acknowledge receipt, agreement and understanding of all information contained therein. All employees are drug tested at hire and agree to random testing, post injury testing, field testing, etc. Marlin participates in and is a member of DISA, Inc. New employees are also given copies of the company’s progressive discipline policy to be adhered to by all company personnel. All of our personnel have “Stop Work” Authority and we employ behavior based safety training techniques. We have a clear understanding of the skills, techniques, equipment and personnel required to plan, and execute critical assignments, both on location and in the office. This combination of demonstrated operational experience and our strong emphasis on safety and extensive project knowledge ensures that our clients’ expectations are met. Marlin meets or exceeds all industry standards and regulations. Appropriate guidelines and regulations which we adhere to include: the Association of Diving Contractors International, International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA), International Association of Oil and Gas Producers (OGP), US GOM Diving Safety Work Group (DSWG), US Army Corps of Engineers, Bureau of Reclamation, US Coast Guard and OSHA. Marlin maintains a complete inspection and preventative maintenance program on all equipment owned and utilized by the company and said program contains measures directed to safety, as well as environmental concerns and maintained by the companies’ operations manager and periodically reviewed by management.
